You can also use an image as a pattern in the background of your web page. This can create the look and feel of paper or stationary. The <BODY> tag allows you to specify this background image:

When using an image or texture as a background, make sure that the image does not make it impossible to read the text on your page. Softer images using lighter colors with lower contrast work best. Many painting programs allow you to blur or soften an image.
