For smaller images which are imbedded in a line of text (like those flashy "New" icons you've seen), there are some alignment options to control how those images line up vertically with the surrounding text:
ALIGN=texttop
aligns image with highest text on the line
ALIGN=top
aligns image with highest item on the line
ALIGN=middle
aligns middle of image with baseline of text
ALIGN=absmiddle
aligns middle of image with middle of largest item
ALIGN=bottom
aligns bottom of image with bottom of text
ALIGN=absbottom
aligns bottom of image with bottom of largest item
For example:
Keep in mind that one line of text may include several of these smaller images. Some of these options will align an image with only the text. Others also look at other images on the line. The best way to use these alignments is to experiment until you get the look you want.
Include at least three smaller "inline" images on your page. Use one of the alignment options to control how that image aligns with the text on that line. You must use images you created yourself or get permission from whoever created the image!
